REGAL II HISTORY
Regal II was built to the order of Charles Rosman by Peter Bracken at Kurnell Sydney and launched in 1981. Regal II replace the then aging Regalia. Unlike the other Rosman vessels Regal II is a single deck vessel however passengers do have access, in limited numbers, to the upper deck for an improved view of the surrounding harbour. Regal II is powered by a Gardner marine diesel engine model 6LXB, a six cylinder naturally aspirated medium speed engine.
For many years Regal II was used for the Lane Cove River Ferry Run.
