A lasting impression…

Iconic to Sydney Harbour, the Rosman Cruises fleet of vintage ferries are renowned for providing unrivalled viewing for Sydney's greatest on-water events. For decades, spectators have flocked aboard to cheer on the historical 18 Foot Skiffs, watch the thrills and spills of the modern Australian 18 Footers League, experience the nail-biting start of the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, and the start of the Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race.

Each vessel within the Rosman Cruises fleet is meticulously maintained under the skilled care of the Noakes Group team, ensuring that these important pieces of Sydney's working harbour history endure.

Dating back to 1939, the classic ferries Proclaim, Royale, Regal II and Radar are masterpieces of traditional boatbuilding techniques. Rosman vessels first carried passengers from Circular Quay to all parts of the Harbour in the early 1900s. They also plied routes along the Parramatta and Lane Cove rivers.

Originally owned by Charlie Rosman and based in Mosman Bay, the fleet was sold to the Matthews brothers in 1987 and moved to their current home in Berry's Bay. Acquired by Noakes Group in 2008, the fleet are privileged to be under the expert care of a full-time dedicated crew, ensuring they are retained in ship-shape condition.

Nowadays, the Rosman fleet can often be seen on Sydney Harbour providing wedding charters, celebrations and corporate event transfers, as well as carrying passengers on behalf of the Sydney Ferries public transport service. They are seen by millions every year as they take part in Vivid, Australia Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Eve celebrations.

Rosman Cruises offer a full range of charter options including corporate transfers and events, wedding charters, private harbour cruises, celebrations, and school excursions. The fleet of heritage vessels offer a classic and comfortable space for guests to enjoy an unforgettable time afloat.
